Autism Society of Oregon - Lane
County Chapter
The purpose of the Lane
County Chapter of the Austism Society of Oregon (which
is the state chapter of the Autism Society) is to
coordinate delivery of services for a diverse autism community of
all ages and across all reaches of the autism spectrum; to advocate
for, serve, celebrate and educate the autism community; to collaborate
on services without duplicating efforts; to support and work with
other autism organizations; and to build and nurture a viable community
for young autists to grow up in and for our adults to thrive in.
The Lane County Chapter
of the Austism Society of Oregon will work closely with local grassroots
autism organizations - Bridgeway House, KindTree Productions, 4J
School District, Direction Service, Hilyard Community Center, U
of O, Autism Training and Support, Autism Speaks, and many others.
The Autism Society of Oregon (ASO) is the state
chapter of the national organization, the Autism Society. AS is
the oldest and largest grassroots organization within the autism
community, with over 120,000 members. When you join AS, you will
automatically be entered into ASO’s database to receive mailers
and e-mail communications about the many events that ASO hosts throughout
the state of Oregon. Become
an ASA member.
